WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
BUSINESS CASUAL/TRENDY is encouraged. Please dress to impress and prepare to be photographed on camera! Bright, solid and jewel-toned colors work best on camera!
WHERE DOES THE SHOW TAPE?
All audience members must check-in at ABC Television Studios, 30 West 67th Street, New York, NY 10023 (between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West).
HOW LONG IS A TAPING?
Tapings typically last about 90 minutes. On occasion, there will be additional segments taped in the studio prior to or after the scheduled show. Please leave your departure time flexible.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Plan to arrive by the call time deadline listed on the site, which is approximately 90 minutes before the show tapes. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, as ticket distribution may be in excess of studio capacity.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO ATTEND THE SHOW?
All adult guests must present a government-issued photo ID with their birth dates and addresses. This information must match the information submitted in the ticket RSVP. NO ONE UNDER 14 WILL BE ADMITTED (except for certain special themed shows): Each guest under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and must show their birth certificate or photo identification with a birth date. Minors not accompanied by a parent must return a Minor Release form prior to the taping for the minor to be admitted.
ARE THE CHEW TICKETS FREE?
Yes, all the Chew tickets are free and non-transferable.
WHEN WILL I FIND OUT IF MY TICKET REQUEST HAS BEEN APPROVED?
If tickets are available for the show you requested, you will be contacted approximately three weeks prior to the show by email. Not all ticket requests can be honored, and we will contact you only if your ticket request has been approved. Please note that from time-to-time, last minute tickets may become available and we may contact you closer to the show date you requested.
HOW CAN I GET STANDBY TICKETS?
Standby tickets will be available about 90 minutes prior to show time at ABC Television Studios, 30 West 67th Street (between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West), New York, NY 10023.
On occasion, we give away items to our studio audience members! However, no such giveaways are guaranteed. Also, the giveaways are taxable and, due to the complications of tax laws, residents of foreign countries may not be eligible to participate.
CAN I BRING A CAMERA?
Cameras may be used before and after the show ONLY. Videography is NOT PERMITTED.
IS THERE A SECURITY SCREENING?
All audience guests are required to pass through a magnetometer screening prior to entering studio facility. No weapons of any kind are permitted. There are no exceptions. Please do not carry in excess bags or luggage. Please refrain from bringing gifts.
IS THERE A COAT CHECK?
No, all of your belongings must fit underneath your seat.
The 1 Train stops at 66th Street and Columbus Ave. Or walk down Columbus from 72nd St. from the 2/3 Train..
Public parking garages are located along W. 66th Street and along West End Avenue (between 66th and 69th Streets).
If a show is cancelled due to inclement weather or for any other reason, you will be notified via e-mail or telephone by The Chew audience department. “The Chew” does not refund travel fees and is not responsible for lost wages. All tickets are distributed in excess of studio capacity.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY OR REQUEST TO NOT CLIMB STAIRS
Please let us know if any guests require wheelchair accessibility/no stairs requested, as there are limits to the number of wheelchairs /floor chairs that we can accommodate due to studio constraints and safety issues. WE MAY NEED TO BOOK TICKETS FOR ANOTHER SHOW DATE IF WE HAVE EXCEEDED that number.
