Yes. You must create and verify your 1iota account before you can request tickets to an event.
No. Because these are free tickets, we always overbook. Admission is first-come, first-served so arriving 30-45 minutes prior to the suggested arrival time is recommended. Depending on the popularity of the event or artist, you should adjust your personal arrival time accordingly.
We double book our events because generally 50% of the people with confirmed tickets do NOT show up. This is not a perfect science as we are always relying on people to use free tickets. Some people do not delete their tickets if their plans change. Others request more tickets then they actually use.
Here are a few reasons why some ticket requests are not approved:
The ticket review process varies because our audience requirements vary.
No. You should NEVER buy 1iota tickets from any source, as they will not be valid at our events.
Your friend should make a ticket request as well. If the event is not sold out, he/she will be placed in the que, and will be granted a ticket – availability providing. If the event is already sold out, then no space remains. We’d love to accommodate everyone possible, but space dictates that we can not.
No. On the ticket, you should see that it says “# of tickets: 4.” That tells us the ticket is good for admission of four people. There’s no need to print the ticket four times.
The maximum number of tickets per member for this event is two tickets. One of your friends should request two more tickets under their own account.
We always encourage our members to print the e-ticket as the information is critical. However, your photo ID will be sufficient as your name will be on our Master Event list.
We ONLY offer phone-in tickets for Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
Yes, please delete your tickets if you can not attend. We ask you to do this because we track our attendance, and if you do not show up, it can hurt your chances of receiving future tickets.
The only “general” answer we can give on this one is, as soon as you know you want to attend an event, request tickets. Because each event is different, we really can’t give an answer like “a week before the event”, because some events will fill up on the day they are posted, and some will have tickets available the day before the event.
We offer a "welcome back" program at most shows. Please ask a 1iota rep.
No. 1iota tickets are non-transferrable.
No. 1iota tickets are non-transferrable.
No. The ticket request process is not a contest; you cannot win tickets.
The 1iota ticket review process is not entirely automated. We often review ticket requests manually for the following reasons:
We suggest that you login and view/print your e-ticket within 24 hours of the event because information changes frequently prior to the event.
You may still get free tickets! We will invite fans in the order in which the ticket requests were received.
No, you do not have tickets. Unfortunately, other members with available tickets confirmed their tickets first causing us to hit our capacity.
Your ticket group determines the order in which ticket holders are admitted.
PRIORITY – The Priority Group will be the first 1iota ticket holders admitted. This refers only to admission, not seating.
GENERAL – General ticket holders will be admitted immediately after the Priority group.
STAND-BY – Stand-By ticket holders will be admitted only if capacity is NOT reached with General ticket holders.
No. It is possible that an event does not have a priority group, however, we anticipate that most events will.
If we have a priority group, approximately 40% of the tickets given out are Priority.
In our business, we can never guarantee that anybody gets in because so many things are out of our control. However, if you follow the guidelines, you have a superb chance of getting in. As close to guaranteed as we can get.
You have an excellent chance as long as you arrive on time. Ticket groups ate meant to reward the members that confirm their tickets first. Remember, you General ticket holders have a ticket group behind them too.
Absolutely, but you need some Priority and Stand-by ticket holders not to show up. It certainly happens. About 50% of the people that confirm tickets do not use them.
No, we do not cover any travel costs. In some cases, we will provide validated parking. Check your ticket for information regarding your specific event.
Most events are televised, and because of this, will not allow audience members to bring cameras inside. Please check the details on your ticket for specific information regarding your particular event.
On rare occasions, food or snacks are provided to event audiences. However, these are provided by the event sponsor, not 1iota itself. Please check the details on your ticket for specific information regarding your particular event.
We know that there will likely be a good deal of “down-time” before you are admitted to an event, and you will be standing in line. We do allow you to have food/drink in line for our events. We simply ask that you be courteous and properly dispose of your garbage. Once admission begins, however, we must ask that you refrain from eating or drinking. Many events take place in television studios, where they will not allow food and drink inside the stages.
Because of the nature of a free ticket, we have to let people in on a first-come, first-serve basis. Unfortunately it is difficult to say when to show up to ensure entry because of all the various shows and guests that appear on those shows. We suggest a “call time” but many times people arrive hours before that time.

No. Your entire party must be present with photo ID at the time of check-in. You cannot save a place in line for your guest(s). You will need to either wait outside of the line, or in the standby line if one is available. When your friend arrives, you can join him/her at the back of the line.

Possibly. If you have reserved tickets for more than one event on the same day, you will not receive tickets in the future.
It all depends on your attendance. If you come to all of the events you reserve tickets for, then you are welcome at all of our events.
All events vary. We generally try to give you an approximate "end time" on each individual e-ticket.
Age requirements vary from event to event. And, certain subject matter determines the appropriate age for the audience members. Please check the event details for specific information.

E-mail sent in HTML (hypertext markup language) appears in much the same way that you're viewing this web page. We're able to format the message we send you, adding graphics and links to other pages that you might find useful. HTML e-mails are ultimately designed with you, the reader, in mind and communicate their message much more effectively than e-mails sent as plain text. E-mail sent as plain text can be effective, too; however, you won't see the formatting (bold, italics, etc.) that makes HTML easier to read. You still can receive links to useful information but lose the ability to view graphics. Key benefits of plain text e-mails include smaller file sizes and their ability to be read offline.
